Mexira is a division of Mexico Investment Advisors, S.A de C.V. Mexira has offices in both Houston, TX and Playa del Carmen, MX to best serve the needs of the American seeking the Caribbean dream in Mexico.
Mexira brings something new to the real estate market of Mexico. We offer a unique blend of real estate, financing and American customer service under one roof. Amelia Murphy
Amelia Murphy: Co-owner of Mexira
Amelia Calderon was born in Mexico City, Mexico and received a four-year degree in International Relations from UNAM before leaving home. She relocated to Cancun, Mexico to manage the Pok-tu-Pok Golf Course in this world famous Caribbean resort town. In 1996, Amelia married and she and her husband moved to Houston, Texas. She worked in real estate for seven years following the move to Texas. In 2003, they returned to Cancun to develop cross border mortgage loans for ConfiCasa. The family moved back to Houston, Texas in 2005, where Amelia continues working for the Houston corporate office of ConfiCasa and the cross border Raices Program in the United States.
